ARCHBISHOP CHALLENGES SYNOD ON MIGRATION

In the final formal session of Diocesan Synod in Cologne, Archbishop Joris Vercammen, of the Old Catholic Church, gave a challenging address to members on the theme of Migration, which has been the major part of our discussions, prayers, study and worship this week.

The Archbishop was warmly thanked by Bishop Robert after his talk, highlighting the very real needs of the Calais Jungle migrant camp and the work of a Benedictine monk there.

He concluded with a powerful plea to avoid the so called Brexit in next week's EU Referendum,
