Three new clergy appointments have been announced during the weekend to the delight of their chaplaincies who are awaiting a new Priest.
The next Chaplain of Greater Athens is to be Canon Leonard Doolan, who is currently serving as Vicar of Cirencester in the Diocese of Gloucester. Fr. Leonard and his wife Lynne (pictured above together at the steps of St. Paul’s, Athens) plan to move to Athens during June, and Fr. Leonard will begin his work at the beginning of July. He will be following Canon Malcolm Bradshaw MBE who is retiring after 14 years in the Greek capital
It has also been announced that Jennifer Lynn Craycraft Pridmore, who already has a general Permission to Officiate in the Archdeaconry of North-West Europe is to become Chaplain of St Mary’s, Rotterdam from the beginning of March
Completing the three new arrivals is Prebendary Stephen Stuckes, currently Vicar of St Michael the Archangel, Alcombe, near Minehead (in the diocese of Bath and Wells) is to be Chaplain of St Ursula, Berne in Switzerland from the beginning of May in succession to the Venerable Peter Potter who retired at the end of last year.
