SCENES FROM HOLY WEEK 2017

Holy Week is full of colourful customs and acts of worship. In this pictorial posting we share some of the scenes around the Diocese in Europe during Holy Week and Easter 2017.

Members of Christ Church, Lille enjoyed an Agape fellowship meal on Maundy Thursday and St Boniface, Antwerp followed the traditional custom on foot washing – recalling the meaning of Maundy – from the Latin Mandatum – the Lord’s new commandment to love and serve one another.

On Spain's Mediterranean coast members of St Christopher's on the Costa Azahar climbed to a mountain hermitage overlooking Vinaros where, led by locum priest Derek Akker, they followed the stations of the cross
