By cheque, payable to the “Diocese in Europe” and sent to the Diocesan Finance Officer at the Diocesan Office (contact details below). If the cheque is for a particular chaplaincy or to benefit a diocesan fund or appeal, please make this clear in a covering note.
Money may be transferred directly in to the diocesan bank account (details below). However, if intended for a specific chaplaincy it is vital the Finance Officer is made aware of this otherwise the intended beneficiary may not receive the donation.UK tax payers may wish to take advantage of the Gift Aid scheme where for every £100 donated a further £25 is reclaimable by the Diocese, as a UK registered charity.
Please note that 95% of the reclaimable tax is credited to your preferred beneficiary with 5% being taken by the Diocese as an administration charge.Gift Aid forms are available to download as “pdf” files on this page of the website. Should you use any of these forms please print the relevant item(s); complete as necessary and send to the Diocesan Finance Officer.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Diocesan Finance Officer if you have any questions
