O Lord Open Our Lips From Geneva To Worcester

The Diocese in Europe can boast some top quality choirs among its church congregations and they occasionally get the opportunity to show their musical accomplishments overseas. The Choir of Holy Trinity Church, Geneva, has just visited Worcester where they sang for choral evensong for four evenings from 25-28 July. They also fielded four first-class organists to play the voluntaries.

Afterwards they were presented with a small gift and warmly invited to return next year.  Holy Trinity has a strong musical tradition, ranging from the robed choir to a Gospel group.  It follows the RSCM Voice for Life programme with two of the younger members pictured proudly wearing their red or blue ribbons.  The Choir also offers a small number of choral scholarships.  It has also recently completed a project to upgrade and refurbish its Kuhn pipe organ.
