Eco-Diocese Zoom event: Reducing Plastic Waste

 

Diocesan Environment Officer, The Revd Elizabeth Bussmann has asked us to publicise this Zoom event across the Diocese on Wednesday, 27 January:

 

Invitation to ‘Reducing Plastic Waste’
A zoom resource for everyone interested in tackling this huge environmental problem.
Not only in the lives of individuals but also in the development of a campaign to influence others – from our friends and families to manufacturers, distributors, retail outlets etc. etc.!

Part 2. What can we do?

Chaired by the Archdeacon of Gibraltar, The Revd Canon David Waller

  • Dame Ellen MacArthur: ‘Breaking the plastic wave’

  • Isabel (Bebe) Soares: ‘Plastic Free February’

  • The Revd Elizabeth Bussmann:  ‘Plastic reduction through Lent’

  • And after Lent … ?

This locally started initiative is supported by the Gibraltar Archdeaconry, A Rocha Portugal and International and the Diocesan Environment Office as a Diocesan-wide initiative.
