Ecumenical Easter In Antwerp

Christians come in many different shapes and sizes and, since the days of the Early Church, have differed on some points of belief and practice. But the glorious news of Christ´s rising to new life is a joyful certainty shared by believers.

In Antwerp, Belgium, on Easter Day at 8 in the morning members of St Boniface Anglican church congregation shared with other denominations in an Ecumenical service in front of the city´s Cathedral of Our Lady. After reading the Easter gospel and spoken words of praise each participant to express, in their own words, an Easter greeting. The event was coordinated by the Antwerp council of Churches.
