A Royal Day To Remember
All over Europe people are celebrating 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation this weekend but for Canon Robert Innes and his wife Helen there will be a special interest in the monarch.
On Thursday last week (May 30) they went to Buckingham Palace where Robert was presented to Her Majesty the Queen as the newest member of the college of royal chaplains.
Robert comments: "being presented to Her Majesty in front of 6000 people at a garden party was somewhat daunting, even for someone well used to public events. But the invitation for Helen and me to the Royal Tea Tent was a huge honour and an unforgettable experience."
