Malta Delegates Hear More On The Kidnapped Nigerian Children

Canon Simon Godfrey writes; “His Beatitude Gregorios III, Patriarch of the Greek Melkite Church, addressing a conference in Malta has spoken from the heart about the Church in Syria. In front of a distinguished audience as part of a 3 day conference organised by the Pontifical Institution, called “Aid to the Church in Need” (ACN), the Patriarch gave a heartfelt account of the plight of Christians in the Middle East.

“He said ‘91 churches have been destroyed in Syria alone and tens of thousands of his people have been unhoused. If Francis, Bartholomew and Justin spoke together then we would see the results’ adding that he will be visiting Lambeth Palace next week

“Aid to the Church in Need has gathered representatives from around the world to Malta and during an official dinner a topical concern was highlighted by Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama from Jos in Nigeria who gave more information about the kidnapped Nigerian school children.”

ACN is working in 130 countries helping Christians who are persecuted ,oppressed or in pastoral need and does so on behalf of countless Christians worldwide who give generously and sacrificially .
