That’s What Friends Are For

They came, they rejoiced and gave thanks for our unique Diocese. The Friends of the Diocese in Europe held their annual Eucharist in St Matthews Church, Westminster on Wednesday 15 October 2014.

Bishop Robert celebrated and preached at the service and in his sermon, on the theme of St Teresa of Avila – whose festival was being celebrated – he outlined his vision for the ministry and mission in Europe.

At the reception, after the service, The Friends’ Chairman, Mark Pellew, welcomed Bishop Robert and used the occasion to launch a new leaflet promoting the work of The Friends of the Diocese.
