French Synod Meets In Brittany

The Archdeaconry of France is meeting this week for its annual Synod in Brittany, at the picturesque location of St Jacut de Mer. In addition to a busy programme of devotional, educational and practical sessions the event offers a rare opportunity for the many geographically dispersed churches across France to meet informally and to share experiences and faith stories before they return to their own congregations.

Our pictures, provided by Fr Walter Raymond from Monaco, show the clergy in their Chapter Meeting (above) and ARC France's co-chairs Archbishop Robert Le Gall (Toulouse) and Fr Matthew Harrison (Paris) with the Archdeacon of France at the official launch of the English version or the new ARC France document "For A Common Prayer" on Thursday 16 April 2015
