Tributes Paid To A Faithful Servant Of God And Loving Supportive Wife

Tributes have been paid to Mrs Sue Siddal, wife of Canon Arthur Siddal, a former priest in the Diocese and, until recently, Secretary of the Friends of the Diocese, who has died at the age of 63 after a lengthy illness.

Bishop Robert added his condolences, saying “As a diocese we extend our deepest sympathy to Arthur Siddall in his bereavement. His wife Sue demonstrated a life full of active service and Christian commitment, in the different places in which she and Arthur lived. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.”

Sue’s funeral will be at St Michael’s Church, Whitewell in the Forest of Bowland (pictured above) at 12 noon on Tuesday 12 May 2015.
