Canon Robert Dennis lit the Easter fire at St Andrew’s Pau.

Our new chaplain revived the tradition of lighting the Easter Fire before the Eucharist on Easter Day. This was followed by the singing of the Exultet as the Paschal Candle was borne inside.

The church was packed as the congregation of our outreach church was bussed in to join that of Pau, and visitors to the area. Many stayed on for a parish lunch held at the home of one of the Pau members.
