My role is to advise people in the Diocese who find themselves in situations of conflict and to raise awareness of Christ-like ways of conflict transformation positively. 

This role is important because it provides an opportunity to extend our experience in peace and conflict transformation to many chaplaincies across the Diocese in terms of conflict transformation and training - particularly in terms of equipping people in local Christian communities to positively transform the conflicts that can arise between them. The objective of our training on peace and conflict transformation was and remains to enable participants to have a general understanding of what conflicts are (from definitions to all transformation processes) and how to transform them positively using the mediation process, to be able to live together with knowledge and mutual respect for our differences in local communities.
