Policies of the Diocese in Europe
The diocese has a range of policies and guidelines, including on safeguarding, anti-bullying, racial justice and caring for creation. They can be found on this page.
There are four policies which are key to the life of the diocese and have been agreed or are in the process of being agreed at Diocesan Synod level, including safeguarding, anti-bullying, racial justice and caring for creation. These can be found below.
There are also a wide range of other policies and guidelines, covering areas such as appointments, finances and legal matters. All of these can also be found in the Diocesan Handbook.
Policies
Safeguarding policy
This policy and practice guidance contributes greatly to promoting a safer culture and building good safeguarding practices in a chaplaincy.
Anti-bullying policy
This policy follows is an effective way of dealing with bullying and abuse so that our diocese can be a means of God’s grace and healing.
Racial Justice policy
The diocese commissioned a working group to bring together shared wisdom and provide a policy document that can help us and perhaps the wider Church of England to engage with the question of racial justice as a matter of urgency. Read this here.
