Installation Service for new Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral, Gibraltar: 13 October
The Licensing and Installation Service for the new Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral, Gibraltar in the Diocese, The Revd Canon Ian Tarrant (pictured), took place on 13 October.

The Service, originally scheduled to take place in early April, was postponed due to covid-19. Since March, Ian has carried out his role of ‘Dean Designate’ under the title Bishop's Commissary in Gibraltar, following his appointment to this senior role in the Diocese last December.
Due to current travel restrictions in Belgium, Bishop Robert will not be able to preside at the Service but will contribute to the occasion remotely. Thankfully, travel from the UK to Gibraltar remains possible, and Bishop David will lead the Service. He will be joined by Archdeacon David Waller and Diocesan Registrar, Aiden Hargreaves-Smith.
Invited dignitaries and guests will include the Governor of Gibraltar, H.E. Vice Admiral Sir David Steel and ecumenical representatives.
