On Monday 24 July, Jane Birkin's funeral was held at the Saint Roch church in central Paris. Revd Alyson Lamb, former chaplain of St Michael's Paris, preached the sermon, while hundreds of mourners (BBC article) gathered outside to watch the live-stream and listen to her songs. 

Alyson spoke warmly of her memories of Jane, and of her conversations with her about faith and love.
