What is it?
Rooted in Unity is a chance for young people from all denominations to join together for a week of fellowship, worship and teaching. Based at St George’s Church in Lisbon, it is a unique partnership between the Anglican Church in Portugal (part of the of Diocese in Europe) and the Chemin Neuf community on France.
We will be joined by such brilliant speakers such as Stephen Cottrell, the Archbishop of York, and Dot tyler, Head of Youth and Emerging Generation Team at Tear Fund. Enjoy worship with the likes of Hillsong and Taize, and of course, have the opporuntity to explore the beautiful city of Portugal.
At the end of the week we hope to join World Youth Day – a gathering of over 500,000 young Christians from across the world for worship, community and to celebrate mass led by the Pope.
