This Mothering Sunday, support refugee women and children

Bradon works in Calais as the Anglican Refugee Support Lead. As Mothering Sunday approaches, he shares an appeal for much-needed supplies at the Refugee Women's Centre in Calais. This is the only project in the area working solely for women: Refugee Women's Centre | Calais Appeal
They currently urgently need the items on the list below and also accept financial donations to purchase similar supplies.
The team at the Centre explain: "Our team operates six days a week in order to respond to not only material needs but also social, legal and medical needs. We provide essential non-food items such as hygiene products, women’s and children’s clothing, and baby care products. By taking individual orders, we aim to preserve the agency of the individuals we work with, respecting their needs and wishes. We recognise that “basic needs” include mental health and wellbeing, we serve as a moral support, and create spaces that are dedicated for women to feel comfortable, whether their wish is to talk to someone or to be left alone."
If your chaplaincy or region can supply any of the items below, please talk to Bradon directly to arrange collection or delivery. bradon.muilenburg@europe.anglican.org
