The Revd. Derek Goddard passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday 17 January 2024.

He was priest-in-charge at Holy Cross Anglican Church, Palermo from November 2006 to June 2009 and subsequently 4 times as serving Locum until 2017.

We were blessed to have Derek as our Chaplain.

He introduced us to new way of church life, with his empathy and dedication he showed us how to be better Christians.

He will always be remembered as a good friend.

Our thoughts are with his wife Pennie who always supported him in his ministry.
