Thank you for joining us at our Rededication of Vows and Blessing of Oils service.

Last year, as Covid-19 lockdown was just beginning, we held our first well-attended diocesan service in Holy Week by Zoom, at which licensed ministers renewed their vows. 

It is salutary to be finding ourselves still in lockdown one year later. After some reflection, we have had to conclude that physical Chrism Eucharists are not practicable this year. We therefore plan to offer another pan-diocesan Zoom-based service.

This service will give an opportunity for all clergy and lay ministers to renew their vows. It will also include the blessing of oils. Bishop Robert will preside and Bishop David will preach.

The act of worship will be at 11:00 CET on Wednesday 31 March.

Everyone is warmly invited to this service, which we will livestream on YouTube, as we did on Ash Wednesday, when over 700 people joined us. There will also be a service video posted on our Diocesan YouTube channel.
