Petertide ordinations 2019
Five candidates in the Diocese – three women and two men – are to be ordained by our Bishops this Petertide in two services this weekend, at Holy Trinity pro-Cathedral, Brussels and the Anglican Church of St Thomas the Apostle, Crete.
On Saturday 29th June at 2.30 p.m., Jean-Bosco Turahirwa is to be ordained priest by Bishop Robert at Holy Trinity pro-Cathedral, Brussels. Jean-Bosco will continue to serve as assistant curate at Holy Trinity.
On Sunday 30th June at 10.30 a.m., Bishop Robert will ordain three candidates as deacons:
Mathias Kissel is currently a member of chaplaincy council at the Anglican Church, Basel. He will serve there as assistant curate.
Evelyn Sweerts will serve as assistant curate at the Anglican Church of Luxembourg, where she is lay pastoral assistant with a particular responsibility for young people and families.
Roxana Teleman will serve as assistant curate at the Anglican Church of the Holy Trinity, Nice, with St Hugh, Vence.
On Sunday 30th June at 11:00 a.m., at St Thomas the Apostle, Crete, Bishop David will ordain Julia Bradshaw deacon. Julia is currently a member of the chaplaincy council and will serve as assistant curate there.
