Preparations are underway across the UK, in Europe and around the world for services and events to mark the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth yesterday.
Speaking yesterday evening, Bishop Robert said, ‘Queen Elizabeth modelled a life of duty and public service to an extraordinary degree, right to the end. As Head of State, she was a rock of dependability, and her death will be felt very deeply.’
The Church of England and the Diocese in Europe have been collating materials for anyone charged with the responsibility of organising or leading services. This includes liturgies, prayers, photographs and suggested hymns. Click here for details.
