The Nicene Creed Aloud

We’d love to have recordings of people from across our diocese, of all ages and communities, saying the Nicene Creed.
We therefore need film clips of people recording themselves or others saying it out loud - this could be:
- The whole congregation
- A small group of people
- Individuals
A FEW HINTS AND TIPS
To record the film:
- Selfie mode is fine if you would like to record yourself!
- If you can show your location in the background in some way - something recognisable about your chaplaincy (we have some lovely shots from last Easter filmed on the beach or up a mountain, for example)- that’s great. This really helps to show off the vibrancy and uniqueness of our diocese.
- Say it nice and slowly!
Obviously, you can hold the words up if you need to. If you are feeling tech-savvy, you can use an app like one of these as a teleprompter if that helps:
On a mobile:
On a laptop:
To send the film:
- We Transfer is good
- If it is filmed on your phone and not too big a file size, WhatsApp is fine
- By email as an attachment is ok if it will send ok
- Please don’t forget to say who you are and where you are from when you send your film in
Here are a couple of filming tips:
- Try not to film straight into the light as we won’t be able to see you or the person/people talking
- Sound is really important, so try filming somewhere relatively quiet, if possible - or use a mic if you have one
- You can hold your device whichever way is easiest for you
- Don’t forget to ensure people in the video have agreed to be filmed, your chaplaincy should have some guidance.
