Welcome to our new website
We are very pleased to share our new website for the Diocese in Europe.
We hope you will find this new site useful, relevant and enjoyable. We have designed it both for those who know the diocese well and for those who may be finding out about it for the first time. We are a vibrant and diverse diocese, and we want to reflect and share that here.
A new site has been long overdue. We have built this one to help us function better as a 'digital diocese', to equip and enable everyone in our chaplaincies and communities in their work. and to showcase the many stories from across the 30+ countries that our diocese covers.
Our clergy and volunteers need to get to information quickly and accurately, so we wanted to make it simple to use. You can find what you need through the menus or the search button at the top right.
The site uses our new branding and colours. This reflects the Church of England's branding, combined with European and liturgical colours to represent the unique nature of our diocese.
We have updated some key parts of our site...
Find a church
To show exactly where our churches are, when their services are held and how to get in touch, we have created a new online tool with an interactive map showing all of our chaplaincies and congregations. This is powered through A Church Near You – the Church of England database.
Diocesan Handbook
This guide for all clergy and church officers in the diocese is now fully online, with all accompanying documents and resources.
Meet our teams
Find out about our diocesan teams. If you want to get in touch with someone in the diocesan office quickly, all contact details can be found on the staff directory.
News
The latest news page will help you keep up to date with our stories as well as allowing you to sign up to our newsletters and magazine.
Resources
Many resources can be found in the Diocesan Handbook, but here you can also find Liturgical, Safeguarding and Communications resources, or use the search button at the top right of every page to help you.
Our website is a living document, with new stories, links and events being added as part of our everyday life across our diocese.
Now it is live, we will continue to work on it in the weeks ahead to make it work as smoothly as possible for a wide range of people.
If you have any questions or comments on the site which you can’t find an answer for on here, please email us communications@europe.anglican.org - we’re always keen to hear your thoughts.
We are hugely grateful to the Benefact Trust, formerly known as the AllChurches trust for their support with funding this website.
