Anglican Church of St Boniface Antwerp – Full Time Chaplain
St Boniface Antwerp (a vibrant, busy, port and city in Flanders, Belgium), is looking to appoint a new fulltime senior priest. Our intent is to be a welcoming, Eucharist-centered community, shaped by the very best of AngloCatholic liturgy and tradition.
Our church family is made up of international and multi-cultural worshippers who choose to worship in English; we welcome people from all backgrounds, nations and sexuality.
We are seeking an experienced parish priest with the proven ability to provide:
• The best of Anglican liturgy rooted in the catholic tradition
• Considered pastoral care
• A warm welcome to all who come through our doors.
• Ongoing engagement and outreach to small groups within the congregation.
• An interest in our church music
We are offering a remuneration package that is aligned with standard practice in the Diocese in Europe, and in accordance with Belgian requirements, and includes a full Belgian State stipend, pension contributions and health care.
The successful candidate, if not an EU national, will need to obtain a Dutch language qualification (level B2) and necessary work and residence permits- details provided by the Central Committee in Belgium. A resolution has been passed under the House of Bishops declaration on the ministry of Bishops and Priests.
