The Chaplaincy in Albir on the Costa Blanca in Spain was just one of the churches celebrating Women's World Day of Prayer in early March.
Over forty members of the congregation took part in the global celebration. This year the service was written by women from Suriname.
The seven women leading the service in Albir all dressed in colours to replicate the colours of the others in Asia they were representing.
"The singing was great. Even the Suriname words sounded as if we were totally used to the language. Our thanks to the women of Suriname for a wonderful service."
