Our free online lunchtime sessions will show you how to use social media well for your church. This training programme will run between 27th Nov-6th Dec.  

Would you like to learn how to engage well on social media in the Church context, or brush up your knowledge with some hints and tips?    Need and want to know more about how to use Facebook, write high quality content with impact, and get the most of a Church Near You?

If so, Diocese in Europe social media training has been designed for you!

These unmissable sessions will give participants a clear understanding of the core social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as A Church Near You. 

In these practical sessions, you will learn how to write captivating content. You will also go through how to measure the impact of all those shares, likes and retweets. You will learn how to navigate the main social media platforms and pick up hints and tips to optimise your time on social media. This is a fantastic opportunity to master social media and grow the online presence of your church.

Course content and information:

All sessions will run 1300-1430 CET.

• Intro to Church social media - Wednesday 27th November
• A Church Near You - Friday 29th November
• Facebook - Wednesday 4th December
• Twitter & Instagram - Friday 6th December

The trainer for these sessions will be Amber Jackson.  Amber works on social media for the Diocese of Chichester and has worked previously with Church House Digital Comms team to deliver training.

How to sign up:

You can sign up to just a single session, or for multiple sessions.   The training will be delivered online to meet the needs of people across the Diocese. 

There are 30 places available in each session, so don’t delay in signing up!  Depending on demand, we will run further training sessions next year.
