The Easter season has been very busy for the Albir Church on Spain's Costa Blanca.   They  bade a bitter-sweet “farewell” to Fr Ray who moves onto another worthwhile position after a terrific three years with the chaplaincy. But  Fr Ray will not be far away and the congregation look forward to seeing him around. Now they are looking forward to welcoming Fr Don Witts. "We are so blessed to not be without a Pastoral leader."

Palm Sunday was a meaningful and beautiful service, followed by the very solomn Good Friday service. Easter Sunday was an amazing service, Alleluya! All of these services were well attended which is great news.

On Monday 9^th we had a social gathering at Elaine & Geoff’s apartment with unlimited coffee and homemade biscuits and tarts. With background piano music using composers beginning with Albir Anglican Church. This fundraising event raised €160 for the Chaplaincy.   Next Monday will be a magnificent service of Induction when Fr Don will be licensed this will be in Albir.
