Daily video reflections throughout Advent - I Wonder As I Wander
"I wonder as I wander" say the words of the carol which invites us on the journey to Jesus through Advent and Christmas.
Through the age-old story, we travel together with the principal characters of the Nativity and companions on the road from all over the Diocese in Europe.
While many may make this as a journey of the heart, we remember all those who are on the road because of war, displacement and migration.
We all wander through Scripture, journey backward in history and forward in hope to discover the Kingdom of God which is come and is yet to come.
Each day throughout Advent we have been travelling around hearing from different people in different chaplaincies in different countries across our glorious diocese. Each person has been sharing something about what the season means to them, their hopes or hardship, and what they are looking forward to as Christmas approaches. From poems to songs and more!
We wonder about something as immense as the God of heaven coming to earth and wander to greet the vulnerable, refugee-baby of Bethlehem with companions on the way, sharing encounters, stories and transformation on the road.

Watch out for Bishop Robert's message on Christmas Eve!
(This initiative which began in St Alban's Copenhagen three years ago, is this year being encouraged as a Diocese-wide ADVENTure!)
