The provision of a grievance procedure acknowledges the fact that sometimes relationships are sorely tested and seeks to establish a framework whereby any problems can be fairly addressed.
- In the first place, any difficulties on the part of the Reader in Training should be discussed with their chaplain. Likewise, any difficulties on the chaplain’s part should be discussed with the Reader in Training.
- If no resolution can be found, the Director of Reader Ministry should be called upon.
- If it is impossible to resolve the issue with her help, the Director of Reader Ministry will present the case to the Warden of Readers, in whose hands the process rests thereafter.
