Our Safeguarding Team
Grace Fagan-Stewart
Head of Safeguarding
Grace takes overall responsibility for the diocese’s safeguarding work and its staff team. She provides advice to Bishop Robert and other church officers when allegations or concerns or other safeguarding matters arise, disseminates guidance for church officers in the diocese and across the chaplaincies and oversees and coordinates the provision of training. She also coordinates the work of the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Committee (DSAC), promoting good practice on safeguarding matters.
Safeguarding in the Diocese in Europe is highly involved with many cultural and legal challenges to be absorbed and accommodated within each country. The DST and I are committed to supporting all of our chaplaincies in their efforts in providing a safe church.
